History

Mar Gregorios English Medium Convent School was established in 1972, as Vimala Bhavan Nursery, through the dedicated efforts of two Anglo-Indian teachers. This institution was elevated into an LP School with the name Mar Gregorios English medium Convent School in the academic year 1974-1975. The first annual day was celebrated in January 1975 and devoted this prestigious institution to the society. The school flourished under the dedicated leadership of visionaries like Fr. Thomas Neriyattil and Sr. Angela DM with a strong commitment to the academic excellence and character formation. We celebrated our silver jubilee in 2000 and it was officially recognized by the Government of Kerala on May 14, 2015. Our school continues to empower the students striving for excellence and nurturing young minds for a brighter future.
